Dovetails

Long considered the true test of a craftsman’s abilities, hand-cut dovetails require both skill and patience, as well as sharp tools and careful lay-out. I learned to make dovetailed drawers at Rycotewood College in England, But it was James Krenov who taught me how to make them “sing” by varying the spacing, as shown here.
