Contrary to what some may believe, Arts and Crafts style absolutely does not require fumed quarter-sawn white oak! The client’s choice of walnut and cherry for this blatant Arts and Crafts style buffet cabinet was an excellent decision. Certainly, this meticulously crafted cabinet-on-a-stand would be right at home standing next to the work of Ernest Gimson, Sidney Barnsley, William Lethaby, or any of the other Cotswold craftsmen of 100 years ago.
